Fred Armisen Digs Classic Old DIMMU BORGIR

The man's metal journey has been great to watch.

It's been a lot of fun to watch Fred Armisen, who you might know from Portlandia or Saturday Night Live, slowly reveal his love of metal to the world. Armisen originally made headlines when he hung out with, and later watched a set from Abysmal Dawn.

When Metal Injection spoke to him earlier this year, he revealed some of his favorite bands are Immortal, Liturgy, Xasthur, Myrkur, Sumac and Deafheaven, and that he wants to attend Maryland Deathfest at some point.

Now Armisen has shown up on Dimmu Borgir's Facebook page, as he recently purchased the vinyl reissue of the band's 2005 album Death Cult Armageddon. No word on what his favorite track is. You can grab that very same vinyl here, though we can't promise you'll be anywhere as cool as Fred Armisen.
