The last we heard from Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, the supergroup featuring Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds, Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman and Alice In Chains vocalist William DuVall, along with a ton of guests, the band was finishing up recording back in November.
We're pretty sure they're all done, because today the band posted the above photo from their first photoshoot as a group. They also announced their first live gigs!
The group will play UK's Reading Festival on Saturday, August 27th and Leeds‘ on Sunday, August 28th on the Pit stages. Both Hinds and Weinman will be pulling double duty as Mastodon and Dillinger are also booked on those same days for sets later in the evening.
Will US shows be in their future? We'll let you know when we hear more.
