Genghis Tron's two albums have been out of print for over 10 years at this point. Their 2006 record Dead Mountain Mouth received its final pressing in 2008 by Lovepump United, and their 2008 album Board Up the House received its only pressing in 2008 by Relapse Records. Now both have been repressed by Relapse Records and are available here. So get 'em off your Discogs want list!
Accompanying the represses was a short statement by Genghis Tron saying "more news coming this summer." Given they recently shared a photo of what appeared to be a home studio setup, and a promise of "more real news actually coming soon. promise. like, really soon," I think it's safe to assume Genghis Tron is coming back.
