FAITH NO MORE Have No Post-Summer Plans

Is the party over?

Is the party over?

It's safe to say that Faith No More's Sol Invictus will be making my list of best albums of the year. And, after seeing them a few weeks ago, I am now trying to get tickets for every one of their local and not-so-local upcoming appearances to get my fix of Faith No More as much as I can, because come the fall, we may not be seeing Faith No More again for a while.

Mike Patton spoke to Billboard about the band's lack of future plans:

“An old man only looks to the next day,” the 47-year-old Patton said. “We’re old men.

“So what you do is, you look to the next day or the next plan, and, honestly, we don’t have a plan after this tour or this record.”

This is not to say the band is breaking up again. Who knows? Maybe they're offering a killer spot on a touring festival or a co-headlining tour they can't turn down. All we know for sure is these are the final Faith No More dates (for now, at least)

I guess it's good they're not definitively broken up, right?
