Ex-Mushroomhead vocalist Jeffrey Hatrix, also known as Jeffrey Nothing, is currently battling cancer. Hatrix's daughter Mea broke the news by launching a GoFundMe to help her father financially, as he is now unable to work. The GoFundMe is seeking $20,000 and you can donate right here.
"My dad has recently been diagnosed with Cancer, just months after losing my mom to the same thing," wrote Mea on the GoFundMe page. "Due to this, he may have to stop working during his treatment. Anything means everything, Thank you."
Hatrix's wife Stacy sadly died in April 2024 after a battle with cancer. Hatrix shared the GoFundMe on his own social media and added: "I really wanted to keep this to myself. I was diagnosed a couple months ago. It will be very hard to continue working with the treatment path I have chosen. Thank You for anything you can do to help. I know everyone is going through a lot."
Hatrix was among Mushroomhead's original lineup in 1993, and played with the band until 2018. Hatrix recently revealed he was launching a new band, though sadly that seems to be on hold given his diagnosis. We wish Hatrix all the best with his health.
