Slipknot in 2004 – the band would embark on their Subliminal Verses World Tour that began on March 30, 2004 and would run until November 15, 2005. Footage has now surfaced of then-drummer Joey Jordison absolutely tearing it up during the 2004 portion of the tour via YouTuber (and award-winning filmmaker and photographer) Fran Strine, which you can check out above. It'll make all your limbs hurt.
"Here you'll find never-before-seen footage I captured while touring with Slipknot back in 2004," wrote Strine of the footage. "This is a rare look into the world of one of metal's most iconic bands during their peak. Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience and relive the madness of the Slipknot live experience, as well as unforgettable moments with Corey Taylor, Clown, Jim Root, Mick Thomson, Paul Gray, Joey Jordison and the entire band!"
Sadly Jordison would only play on one more Slipknot record – that being All Hope Is Gone in 2008 – and would ultimately depart from the band in 2013. Jordison would go on to found new bands Sinsaenum and Scar The Martyr, the former of which he would play in up until his untimely death. Jordison died in 2021 and left a significant hole in not only the drumming community, but the music world overall.
Don't worry, there's more than just the lengthy video above. Check out some more of Strine's archives below!
