If there is any style of metal that fits perfectly with the decay and darkness of fall, its the gothic-laced doom metal of My Dying Bride. Again, this is another band whose entire catalog could fit this list, but I was rather partial to their last album, including the heavy and sorrowful "Kneel Till Doomsday". Listen for that violin around 6:15 in particular to see what I mean.
