DOWN "Witchtripper"
Back in the fall of 2004, I picked up NOLA, Down's classic debut. Phil Anselmo's bluesy-doom brigade made for a perfect soundtrack to the autumn of that year. (Disclosure: though this is entirely anecdotal, a lot of my fondest memories tend to come from several autumns past, which probably explains an additional bias to the season). But for today I think I'll go with "Witchtripper", from last year's Purple EP.
