Cursed
Cursed was a Canadian hardcore misanthropy squad that rumbled through the last decade, leaving a trail of grime and soot in their wake. The band’s DIY ethos kept them under the radar of many, but their talent and the profound viciousness of their music earned them acclaim from critics and peers alike. Their brooding mixture of punk, metal and grindcore even predates the “Entombed-core” sound that has generated so much buzz as of late. Unfortunately, the band seemed to live up to their namesake and endured a string of misfortunes throughout their existence, including health and financial issues, that culminated in a robbery while on tour in Europe that ultimately ended the band’s career. As the world continues to degenerate and unravel around us, it seems like any time would be a good time for a Cursed reunion.
