"Everything you can imagine is real" – Pablo Picasso
If we were to combine the ethos and imagination of today's dank with the above quote, well, we all live in one truly fucked up world. Read on to understand…
When we first approached brutal death metallers SENSOR MOTORIK, they were immediately forthcoming. In fact, so much so, we really didn't have to prep for this one… they gave us enough right off the bat! If you are unfamiliar with this poignant band, they hail from Bekasi, West Java, Indonesia, and do the slams like only the Indonesians can do… brutal and sick as fuk! Their brand new EP, Anatomy Of The Human Vasculature, drops on July 7th via Valist Records.
Anyway, as we mentioned, they have a lot to say, and it's all very relevant, and deeply, DEEPLY meaningful! Take it away, guys!
"Our new EP, Anatomy Of The Human Vasculature, has a hidden philosophy in it. From our observations, it is related to the name of sensormotorik – the interplay of sensory and motor performance. This means the control, and control of the movements, of living beings and interplay with meaningful feedback. Anatomy Of The Human Vasculature is a circulatory network in humans that flows at every angle in the body, centered on a single point in the heart – a nervous system of motion in human organs that works from the choreography and motions of our organs.
From this, we can assume that from every work spewed out by every band – all the sweat, time, money, etc., circulates and is composed from a centralized and unified network in which evil songs are created.
We know this about brutal violence – a life full of crime with fools in it. They should fill their activities by channeling their appreciation of art and music by combining a sense of inhumanity with that of the theme of the music. The body is built as a form to create expression, with sensations going beyond the limits of reasonableness.
Treat the body as conduit to show sadism – by stripping, arousing, forcibly raping, sodomizing, licking the nipples, torturing, cutting, peeling, and splattering of fresh blood from the slashed neck. These themes exist in the imagination and lyrical themes that we create, in an effort to not be regarded as inhuman."
Yep. What did we tell ya? Some deep shit. In the meantime, here is the first single – brought to you, once again, by our good friends over at Slam Worldwide!
