MEGADETH Share Final Vocal Take for Album Recording

Screen-Shot-2021-08-09-at-1.04

Great news for Megadeth fans, the vocals for the new album are now finally complete. Dave Mustaine shared a sample of that recording session, which you can see below. That would seem to imply that most if not all of the recording for the album would be complete at this point and all that's left is mixing.

In a Cameo video last week, Mustaine said the band is just approving a handful of songs and expects to turn the new album in to the label "any day now". His full statement was:

"The record is almost done, if you can believe that. I'm just listening to the last little bits right now. Kiko's stuff is all done. We should be turning this in any day now. We've been turning in individual songs, and right now it's down to just approving the last couple of songs. So, keep your fingers crossed and hold your breath. It won't be long till there's a new Megadeth record."

We recently heard a little of the new Megadeth record in another Mustaine Cameo, as well as a thick riff. Mustaine revealed that the album is called The Sick, the Dying and the Dead. Previously, Mustaine teased that the new bassist of Megadeth was in the studio, believed to be Testament's Steve Di Giorgio. In the meantime, you can hear a tease of a new riff toward the end of the video below (promoting Mustaine's Cameo).
