Is traditional moshing just too boring for today's youth?
About 10 years ago, mosh pits seemed to get really violent, with lots of fists flying around, but even that seems tame by today's standards. We've seen guys set themselves on fire in the pit, piss in their own mouths, and straight up run around naked in the pit.
Now, things are being taken to another extreme as we are seeing aluminum trash cans enter the mosh pit. Lambgoat reports that during a Chicago gig by the hardcore "beatdown crew" Drowning, fans got bored of just bumping into each other and decided to grab some trash cans and get really hardcore:

You know last week, we talked about when wrestling went metal, but now it seems like the opposite is happening… metal is going the route of wrestling. Seeing as though moshpits are just turning in Extreme Championship Wrestling, maybe New Jack needs to come in and show these moshers how it's done (NSFW video)
