CAVALERA CONSPIRACY Sign To Napalm Records

When Soulfly announced their new deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment, AND when Max's new project, Killer Be Killed signed with the same label, I assumed it would be a lock that Max's other project, Cavalera Conspiracy, with his brother Iggor, would go that route as well. But not so, the band just announced a new deal with Napalm Records.

Of course, it ultimately doesn't matter who the band signed with, as long as the music is good. Napalm Records' distribution is just as good as Nuclear Blast's and I'm assuming Napalm probably offered a higher advance. After all, this is business. According to quotes in the press release from Max and Iggor, the album will come out next year:

"I am so excited that CAVALERA CONSPIRACY has signed with Napalm Records. This is gonna be our third album and it's going to be a brutal grind-core style. I am already working on the riffs, and it is going to come out next year. Get ready to be brutalized by CAVALERA CONSPIRACY and Napalm Records!" – MAX

"I am very excited to record the new CC record…Me and Max have been planning this for a while, and all I can say is that it will be a "Brutal" record. Also I'm super proud to join Napalm Records, home of lots of amazing artists." – IGOR

Max is a non-stop writing machine. I wonder how he discerns which riffs are right for Soulfly, which are right for Cavalera Conspiracy and which work for Killer Be Killed. Who knows? But it's looking like 2014 is going to be a stacked year for him. We're excited to hear the output.
