Ever since news broke that Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne have separated after she found out he was cheating on her with a hair stylist 30 years his junior, things have been a little awkward in the Osbourne household. Initially, Sharon kicked Ozzy out. After Ozzy demanded back into his own home, Sharon ended up leaving and staying in a hotel.
A few days later, they appeared together at the Ozzfest meets Knotfest press conference where Sharon confirmed that she will still be managing her estranged husband. That was a few months ago and it seemed talk of the strained relationship had died down. That was until this weekend when Sharon offered a new quote to British tabloid The Sun:
"Can I ever trust him again? I don't know," she said. "I'm now questioning every statement — every move. The lies and intrigue still hurt. I don't want to hurt him. I admire and respect him. And that's what I expect back: respect. I didn't get that. It's very hurtful when you don't get that respect and consideration from your partner. I'm seeing a therapist on a regular basis. When my husband is here we see a couple's therapist together. My husband is doing therapy alone. So we are all talking to people. And I'm seeing what it's like living on my own."
There were rumors that Sharon sent Ozzy to sex addiction therapy, although that hasn't been confirmed. Is divorce on Sharon's mind? She's unsure, telling The Sun:
“Ideally I would love for my husband to deal with his issues and work at the problems that he has now, and be honest and open … to be able to come back to us with honesty and respect for the family. That's what I really wish."
Previously, daughter Kelly Osbourne lashed out on Twitter, posting Ozzy's mistresses personal phone number and blaming the mistress for the affair, calling it elder abuse. I guess Sharon doesn't feel the same way. For those constantly ranting on about how Sharon slept with Ozzy guitarist Randy Rhodes in the 80s, Sharon made it clear that she and Ozzy were not married (Ozzy was married to his previous wife at the time) and that Sharon told him the day after it happened… so this is not the same situation at all.
Meanwhile, Ozzy was recently spotted at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting in Switzerland. Which begs the question for me: what asshole ratted out Ozzy going to a meeting? Aren't these things supposed to be anonymous?! It's a pretty shitty thing to do to rat out a fellow recoverer, is it not?
