KERRY KING's Favorite OZZY OSBOURNE Track Isn't A Very Popular One

Anyone down for a gross one?

Kingbourne

Ozzy Osbourne has had some major solo hits over the years – "Crazy Train", "Mama I'm Coming Home", "No More Tears", and "Bark At The Moon" are a few that come to mind. Though if you ask Kerry King of Slayer fame, all those hits can get the hell out of the way for one obscure track.

King's choice for his favorite Osbourne song is "Mr. Tinkertrain" from the 1991 album No More Tears. In an interview with Metal Hammer, King acknowledges that it's a weird choice considering it's a song about paedophilia, but he's still a fan. Of the song, that is.

"There's such a history for Ozzy, starting with Black Sabbath," said King. "I love some of the more abstract solo songs, though – the ones you might hear on radio, but not too often. I fucking love 'Mr Tinkertrain'!"

He continued: "It's a weird fucking topic [paedophilia] for anybody, but for Ozzy especially, and that song is super-heavy. Every time I hear it on the radio it's like, 'YEAH! I'm glad they're playing this instead of 'Crazy Train!' Ha ha ha!"

Despite being the opener for No More Tears and having a music video, Osbourne only played the song once during an October 5, 1991 show at the Marriott Hotel Ballroom.
