Fear Factory is now streaming their second new single "Fuel Injected Suicide Machine" off their coming Aggression Continuum album, due out June 18. Much like its title might suggest, it's a reckless headlong charge that pretty much never lets up and it's pretty great.
"I can’t wait for everyone to hear this high octane ripping song, it’s based on a character called the Nightrider from one of my all-time favorite movies 'Mad Max'," said guitarist Dino Cazares. "Born with a steering wheel in his hand and lead in his foot, he is the Nightrider, the Fuel Injected Suicide Machine. Remember him when you look at the night sky."
Aggression Continuum is Fear Factory's final album with vocalist Burton C. Bell, though according to Cazares, the band might already have his replacement in mind. Also given the very public spat between Bell and guitarist Dino Cazares lately, including Bell discussing a physical altercation the two had and Cazares making thinly-veiled comments about Burton, it might be safe to assume they're not getting back together any time soon.
Pre-orders for Aggression Continuum are available here. Fear Factory is also currently deciding on the replacement for vocalist Bell, which Cazares said may very well be someone unknown.
