The upcoming Fear Factory record will be the band's final one with vocalist Burton C. Bell. Bell recently said he quit the band in 2020 due to the years of litigation wearing him out, later saying "I just lost my love for it."
In an interview with The Razor's Edge, Bell clarified he has zero interest in rejoining the band and compares it to "going back to an ex-girlfriend."
"No, no, no. It's like going back to an ex-girlfriend," he said. "The thought of it for a second might be good, but once you get there, you regret it. People move on for a reason, and when I move on, I move on.
"I have a lot of great achievements, I have a lot of great times and great moments, but for me, if I wanna continue working, I wanna move forward. And there's just things that you cannot change. And instead of changing it, I'm gonna move forward."
Fear Factory was recently putting the final touches on their new album. To the best of our knowledge, Fear Factory is currently guitarist Dino Cazares and drummer Mike Heller.
