Emmure's Frankie Palmeri has seemingly matured in the decade or so that we've been covering his antics. Last year, he said he's grown as a person and was sorry for being a moronic douche.
We've been heavily critical of Palmeri in the past. Like that time in 2014, he created the tasteful "Ask Your Girlfriend What My Dick Tastes Like" shirt and especially when he thought it was a good idea to release a line of clothing glorifying school shooters. A fan of his asked on Twitter if he would ever consider bringing back his Cold Soul clothing line, and Palmeri said he wouldn't and admitted the shirts were insensitive:
The amount of negativity / back lash towards my (admittedly) insensitive and crude design choices has done nothing to improve my life or career. It's not happening. Thanks. https://t.co/PKSMCgRaMk

He then noted that the "edge lord vibe is played out."
Wrong. Fact is this. The rock/metal/hardcore music world already don't really fuck with me. All that negative shit (when I was 24) only gave more reasons for people to find a excuse to dislike/dismiss anything positive I might have achieved. Also the edge lord vibe is played out. https://t.co/6GW6RGj9oa

While we're glad to see Palmeri reach this level of maturity, he's still making diss tracks.
You might recall there was a supposed "beef" between Frankie and myself after this interview and him subsequently sampling my voice in a song. I thought the beef was over when I released my own diss track. Ahh, simpler times.
