What started out as a hobby for Every Time I Die guitarist Andy Williams has landed him a spot on an (inter)national wrestling company. Williams took up wrestling a few years ago, as a passion he always wanted to pursue. Knowing he was up there in age, he didn't expect to ever get signed by WWE or anything, he just wanted to go out and have fun. That's what he told me a few years ago, when I interviewed Andy for Squared Circle Pit.
Williams teamed up with fellow Buffalo native Braxton Sutter, and they have been developing a team gimmick called "The Butcher and the Blade." Williams is the Butcher, and Sutter is the Blade. Their act was enough to impress All Elite Wrestling officials, and last night on the Thanksgiving Eve edition of the show, they made their shocking debut.
AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes was in the ring and challenging MJF, a wrestler who had just turned his back on Cody, when out of nowhere the Blade tore through the ring and attacked Cody.
Then, Williams, in his "The Butcher" persona came out and gave Rhodes a big suplex.
Finally, Allie, "the Bunny" and mastermind of the trio popped up to reveal the new faction.

I'm sure we'll be learning way more about The Butcher and the Blade in the weeks to come on All Elite Wrestling. Watch it Wednesday nights on TNT in the States, TSN in Canada and ITV4 in the UK.
