The next installment of Guitar Hero was recently announced and metal fans were pretty rightfully pissed off that the genre was largely not featured in the game, save for Pantera and Judas Priest . Seriously, the game inexplicably has Skrillex and but a genre that's focused fairly heavily on technical instrumentation isn't featured? Well, alright then. Fuck you too.
Except not "fuck you too," considering Rolling Stone just put out the following addition to the list, which features some heavier songs such as…
Deftones – “Diamond Eyes”
Marilyn Manson – “Disposable Teens”
Killswitch Engage – “In Due Time”
Mastodon – “High Road”
Bring Me The Horizon – “Shadow Moses”
Of Mice & Men – “Bones Exposed”
Trivium – “Strife”
Royal Blood – “Little Monster”
Vista Chino – “Sweet Remain”
Marmozets – “Move Shake Hide”
Look at that! They actually chose updated songs from these bands this time! Granted we had a few good songs before these, such as tracks by Judas Priest and Pantera, but not the choices are piling on! Here's hoping we get some DLC or a free extra song bank or something with like, Genghis Tron and Gridlink. Why not?
