The Eternal Idol, Headless Cross, Tyr, Cross Purposes, and Forbidden shall resurface!

Black-Sabbath-Tony-Martin

Tony Martin-era Black Sabbath is going to be readily available once more sometime hopefully soon. According to Martin in a Facebook post, he recently spoke to Tony Iommi's manager who confirmed a deal has been struck for the reissue of his albums.

"So i got a call from Tony Iommi's manager … it seems there is now a record deal for my era of Sabbath albums !!!…. so It looks like a re-issue is actually going to happen!!! ? There could be a LOT of "Tony Martin" around this year! …. Sorry about that!"

Tony Martin sang for Black Sabbath between 1987 and 1991, and then again between 1993 and 1997. Martin sang on the albums The Eternal Idol, Headless Cross, Tyr, Cross Purposes, and Forbidden. Only The Eternal Idol is currently available on all streaming services. It's also not clear exactly what the record deal will entail for all the Martin material, but hopefully this means the rest of his stuff is coming to streaming. Especially Tyr – what a hidden gem.
