Jeremy Wagner has been a busy man lately. Outside reactivating his old band Earthburner with Sanguisugabogg and Broken Hope members, he's also been writing the follow-up to Broken Hope's 2017 record Mutilated And Assimilated. No word on when we can expect that particularly brutal effort, but Wagner noted in an Instagram post he's been working on it over the past nine months.
"Tabbing out all the EARTHBURNER album songs with Tyler," wrote Wagner. "I'm so grateful for Ty…he jotted down every root note of every song for the album so I'd remember what the fuck I played!
"You gotta understand, I wrote an entire EARTHBURNER album plus the new BROKEN HOPE album during these last 9 months—some 25 songs total, so staying on top of new tunes, chops, and more takes work and practice.
"THANK YOU, TYLER for helping your old-man-step-grindfather get his shit together. I love you!"
Broken Hope has been around since 1988 and has released seven albums over the course of their career. Most notable was their 1991 debut album Swamped In Gore, which was the first digitally-recorded death-metal album ever.
