Last year we posted about Sigh releasing a new demo song and a lot of people got pretty stoked about that. Now we know what the demo was for! Enter Sigh's announcement of a new album titled Graveward this year. According to a post from record label Blood Music, who will be handling the vinyl release of the record:
"The album is an excellent black n' roll/heavy metal take on the classic horror films of the '60s and '70s, evoking Fabio Frizzi (Lucio Fulci's composer), Carnival of Souls, Hammer horror films, and King Diamond. And of course, it's unmistakably SIGH!"
100-percent of those things sound good! Especially if you've been following Sigh's unique take on music over the course of the band's career, because then this just sounds like Sigh saying "we're doing what we normally do." Oh, and then there's the guests! The new album will feature Matt Heafy from Trivium, Dragonforce bassist Frederic Leclerq and Niklas Kvarforth of Shining (SWE).
