Ozzy Osbourne has been pretty vocal about his desires to do another solo album after Black Sabbath lays it all to rest in 2017, and now we've got a bit more information on what that'll sound like. Ozzy recently revealed in an interview with Sirius XM that he'll be working with Billy Morrison and Steve Stevens on the new material.
Morrison has been playing with Billy Idol since 2010, and played bass with The Cult between 2001 and 2002. Steve Stevens is also with Billy Idol, and has played on albums from artists like Michael Jackson and Bozzio Levin Stevens.
“I’ve been writing with Billy Morrison and Steve Stevens [both guitarists for Billy Idol]. [Steve is] not gonna be in my band, he’s with Billy Idol. But he’s a friend of [Morrison’s] and [Morrison] plays with Billy Idol. I said, ‘I’ve got some ideas,’ and we worked it out. There’s one song that right now is called ‘Crack Cocaine’. It’s like a bluesy thing.”
Kinda sucks for guitarist Gus G. that he's not involved though, considering the dude's been Ozzy's live guitarist since 2009. Though to be fair, Gus played on Ozzy's 2010 album Scream and didn't write any of it… and I'm sure his paycheck isn't too bad.
