Obscura's website has turned into a big countdown and we're pretty damn sure it's about a new record. Back in July the band announced that the new album was recorded mixed and mastered, so between then and now I'd venture to guess all the promotional materials, artwork, packaging merchandise and whatever else was being assembled. Now in just a few days, we'll (probably) know when the album is out and maybe we'll even get a new track to go along with it!
This will be the band's first album with drummer Sebastian Lanser (Panzerballett) and Tom Geldschläger (Fountainhead) since their joining in 2014, as well as the first time bassist Linus Klausenitzer has actually recorded anything with the group despite being a member since 2011!
Until the countdown reaches zero, we wait and hope there's new technical insanity waiting at the end.
