JOHN FRUM (Ex-THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, Ex-THE FACELESS) Joined By IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT Drummer, Working On New Material

John Frum, please come back.

John Frum

John Frum, the band consisting of vocalist Derek Rydquist (Mithridatum, ex-The Faceless), bassist Liam Wilson (Azusa, ex-The Dillinger Escape Plan, and guitarist Matt Hollenberg (John Zorn), is finally working on the follow-up to their album A Stirring In The Noos from 2017

The band revealed they've been working on music via a show announcement for February 11 at the Subterranean Dissonance Fest held at the Underground Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Underground Arts in Philadelphia. John Frum also notes drummer Eli Litwin is no longer in the band, and that Imperial Triumphant drummer Kenny Grohowski has taken over (at least for the coming show).

"We're excited to have been invited to crawl out from from under our proverbial rock to maim your ears at the Subterranean Dissonance Fest at Underground Arts in Philadelphia on Saturday February 11th. Tickets for this stacked lineup are on sale, check comments for a link.

"Over the last few years we've been relatively insulated, partially due to some internal reorganization. Not only will this fest be our first show in 5 years, it will also be our first performance with Kenny Grohowski on drums. We'd like to collectively thank Eli Litwin for the initial spark that ignited this band, we're forever indebted for his contributions to our legacy and non-verbal lexicon. We look forward to collaborating with him in the future.

"Lastly, we'll likely be testing some of the new material we've been working on at the fest, come get weird, it's been too long."
