Morglbl – Tea Time For Punks
Genre: Eclectic instrumental
Origin: France

These guys are a really cool trio of music nerds led by Christophe Godin. Not quite metal but what I'd call heavy jazz fusion. Somewhere in the wheelhouse of your Satriani's and Vai's but with less fans blowing Gordin's hair around. No one in this band seems to have hair, so…. Really cool interesting album.
Third Ion – 13/8Bit
Genre: Progressive metal
Origin: Canada
Label: Glasstone

This band will hopefully get some more attention. It features one the one guy that was in the Devin Townsend Band but not the Devin Townsend Project, a dude from Into Eternity and more. Spacey, rhythmic, and all over the place. They're like a less operatic Leprous.

Uhhh, I'm not sure what I'm listening to or watching on the accompanying video. I've heard this band's name, but never bothered giving them a listen. I wasn't expecting a clusterfuck of deathcore, electronics, and glitch. I must admit that they picked a good mascot in our current state of cat obsession as a world though. Not sure I would have bothered if it weren't for that spooky feline.
