Deftones began teasing what we all assumed was their new record on August 14. Eventually fans started piecing together the teases and figured out the new record would likely be called Ohms. Then yesterday, August 19, fans discovered a billboard that confirmed a September 25 release date for the new record. Now we've got the album artwork, the tracklist, and even a teaser of the lead single "Ohms".
"Ohms" is the album's closer and you can hear a snippet of it below. Of course it's not much to go on, so I really don't have much of an opinion outside "that sure sounds like a Deftones song." Which is y'know, exactly what I'd want out of a Deftones song. The single is expected out tomorrow, August 21.
