Thulcandra is currently working with producer Dan Swanö (Dissection, Bloodbath, Opeth) on their first new album since Ascension Lost in 2015.

The new album is expected out later this year. Thulcandra is currently Steffen Kummerer (Obscura), guitarist M. Delastik (The Soulscape Project), and drummer Alessandro "Erebor" Delastik (Secrets of the Moon).
