Wow, what a day for tour announcements! Between the Meshuggah/BTBAM tour and Mayhem Fest today was already huge. But now, we have word of a new late spring/early summer tour on the horizon: Whitechapel, Revocation, Devildiver, Carnifex and Rivers of Nihil.
The PRP, Lambgoat, and MetalSucks have reported on the tour and we can independently confirm that this is definitely happening! Here are the "leaked" tour dates so far:
5/14 St. Louis, MO @ Fubar
5/15 Kansas City, MO @ Czar Bar
6/7 Knoxville, TN @ The International
6/8 Knoxville, TN @ The International
This seems like a great lineup for fans of any of those bands. People going just for Whitechapel, for example, should be pleased when they hear what comes out of Revocation and Rivers of Nihil. People there for Devildriver might really dig Carnifex. It works many ways, and this is a great bill for the springtime.
