After 10 years of a reunion, which included a full-length and two standalone singles, it looks like Sleep is going on indefinite hiatus.
Sleep took to Twitter to announce three shows between December 29 and 31 at Thalia Hall in Chicago, IL, but more importantly ended their message with the following (fully written out for clarity).
"Prepare hypersleep facility for indefinite duration.
Crew: 3
Confirm: Yes/No
Yes."
Unless maybe they're hitting the studio for a new album and just making it a secret like they did with their 2018 record The Sciences? Who knows, but if Sleep really is going on indefinite hiatus, then maybe get to Chicago and see 'em before they disappear.
