Sleep and Third Man Records did a weed pressing of the band's stoner opus Dopesmoker in 2022, and now they're back with another one for a totally different release.
Sleep will drop a weed-embedded vinyl pressing of their 2018 single "Leagues Beneath" – dubbed Leaves Beneath – on August 26 exclusively at Third Man's storefront in the Cass Corridor neighborhood of Detroit. Keep an eye out on Discogs when one of these inevitably goes up for $500 thanks to some reseller if you can't make it to Detroit this weekend.
As for Sleep, they seem to be pretty inactive these days. Last we heard was back in August of last year when Sleep and Third Man Records finally got Dopesmoker back on streaming services, and with a previously unheard track called "Hot Lava Man". Other than that, Sleep appears to be very much asleep at the moment.
