Sleep spent some of 2017 in the studio with Neurosis keyboardist Noah Landis recording a brand new album. The album is due out sometime in 2018 and will be the first since Sleep's 2003 landmark album Dopesmoker. Though if you really want to get technical, Dopesmoker is just a different version of 1999's Jerusalem, so really it's been close to 20 years since we got a completely original Sleep album.
The band has now announced a handful of U.S. shows to take place in late January, where hopefully you'll get to hear some of the new music! Also, here's hoping Sleep tours more in 2018.
