Metallica had to postpone their September 2 show at the State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, AZ to September 9 after James Hetfield contracted COVID. Now Metallica has announced that tourmates Five Finger Death Punch and newly-added Suicidal Tendencies will open the September 9 show, with Suicidal Tendencies filling in for Ice Nine Kills.
"We're excited to announce that our friends in Suicidal Tendencies will be making the trip out to Arizona to fill in for Ice Nine Kills, starting the show alongside Five Finger Death Punch," wrote Metallica.
"Tickets from the original show will be honored. If you can't make it, refunds are available until Thursday, September 7 at 9 PM Local Time."
