"I was hallucinating. I drove around the United States for a month, following an angel that I saw on the hood of my car."

"I was hallucinating. I drove around the United States for a month, following an angel that I saw on the hood of my car."

Remember how in November, Scott Stapp posted an insane confessional video and then called 911 and threatened to kill Barack Obama, and things got so bad that even his own son publicaly came out against him?

Well, he's getting better now.

After completing a stint in rehab, Stapp is ready to get back into the public eye, as noted by the above photo of him shoeless with a bible that will appear in People magazine.

Stapp tells People that he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. He's currently on meds and in a 12-step program for addiction treatment. How bad did it get? Let's let Scott tell you:

"I had a psychotic break that was brought on by alcohol and drug abuse," he says. "I was hallucinating. I drove around the United States for a month, following an angel that I saw on the hood of my car."

"In my delusional thinking, I thought my family was involved in ISIS, and that millions of dollars had been taken from me to support terrorism," he continues. "All of it was nonsense. I was out of my mind."

Drugs!

As much as we might not be fans of Creed's music, Scott's meltdown went from kind of funny to incredibly sad very quickly, so we're glad he seeked out the help he needed. Let's just hope this doesnt' lead to a Creed reunion, amiright?!
