The Des Moines Register just reported the following:
Clive police reported Mickeal Gordon Thomson, 41, of Clive and Andrew John Thomson, 35, of West Des Moines were fighting and armed with knives in the front yard of a home in the 1900 block of Northwest 129th Street about 4:25 a.m., according to a news release.
At first the brothers were fighting inside the home, but moved outside after it got physical.
Cops arrived to find both Mick and his brother Andrew drunk with "serious but not life-threatening" stab wounds, with Mick being stabbed in the back of the head. No word on what exactly the two were fighting about but both were rushed to a local hospital to treat the wounds.
No charges have been pressed at this time. We'll keep you posted on more developments.
