Brazilian/American metal legends Sepultura are gearing up to bid farewell to the music scene after a phenomenal 40-year career. In March 2024, the band will embark on a massive farewell tour titled Celebrating Life Through Death, spanning across multiple continents and lasting for 18 months.

This final chapter promises to be a monumental celebration of Sepultura's rich and storied history. The tour will kick off in Brazil, followed by dates in Latin America and the United States. Additional dates are expected to be announced soon.

Speaking about their decision to hang up their instruments, Sepultura shared: "After four decades of an incredible journey, we feel it's time to say goodbye. We've visited 80 countries, immersed ourselves in countless cultures, and proudly served as Brazil's musical ambassadors to the world. Our latest album, Quadra, stands as a testament to our enduring creative spirit, and the SepulQuarta project helped us weather the storm of the pandemic together. Now, we're ready to unite one last time for a powerful farewell tour."

During the tour, Sepultura will record 40 live tracks in 40 different cities, culminating in a massive compilation album showcasing their most electrifying moments on stage.

Reflecting on their remarkable journey, the band expressed their gratitude to their dedicated fans: "We're eternally grateful for everything we've accomplished over the past four decades. We've released critically acclaimed albums, played unforgettable shows around the world, formed lasting friendships, met our idols, and contributed significantly to the global metal scene. We've achieved so much, and we leave the music scene with a sense of immense pride."

Sepultura reserved a special message for their loyal fanbase, affectionately known as the "SepulNation": "You are the backbone of everything we've achieved. Your unwavering support, your passion, and your dedication have been our driving force. This farewell tour is for you. We love you, and we always will!"

"Euthanasia, the right to a dignified death. The right to choose to live free and to choose when you die!"

Celebrating Life Through Death will certainly be an opportunity to witness the final chapter of Sepultura's legacy and celebrate the incredible impact they've made on the world of metal. Keep an eye out for tour dates soon.
