Sharon Osbourne has announced he has tested positive for coronavirus. Thankfully, she noted Ozzy has tested negative so far. She noted she was hospitalized but is now in isolation and doing okay.
"I wanted to share I've tested positive for Covid 19," she wrote. "After a brief hospitalization, I'm now recuperating at I'm now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while The Talk is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy."
This is particularly scary for Ozzy, who told British GQ last month that he is immunocompromised and a high risk for thew virus. "I've got emphysema, so if I get this virus, I'm fucked," he said.
In September, Sharon came in contact with somebody who ended up positive and quarantined. The couple's two granddaughters ended up testing positive, but thankfully made a full recovery.
Previously, Ozzy said that while he would take the vaccine, he does not plan to be first in line. "I'm trying to recover so I can get… The only good thing about this pandemic, I couldn't work anyway because of my injuries. I'm hoping that I'll be booking 2022, I think.
"To be honest with you, I don't think it's gonna get ship shape until the end of next year. I think this winter is gonna be fucking bad, because you're gonna have the flu. People are, 'I'm not taking the flu shot.' You know what?
"You can give me anything, but I'm not gonna be number one on that fucking new vaccine. I don't know want to be the first one to wake up with a set of fucking antlers in the morning."
