Shocking Revelations

Of Course The Guy That Started The "Storm Area 51" Event Is A SLAYER Fan

Hopefully, some Slayer will be blasting when they storm Area 51

The truth is out there, and a bunch of believers are planning to storm Area 51 today to find out if aliens are real once and for all. To add fuel to their fire, there was the wild revelation from the U.S. Navy confirmed the validity of the recent UFO videos released by former Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge's alien research center (yea, that's a thing too, but that's a whole different story).

Today is the big day to storm and of course, of course, the dude who came up with the whole thing is a Slayer fan.  A report from CNN identified Matty Roberts as the creator of the Facebook event “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us,” which had over 2.1 million RSVP as going to the event today.

Roberts told CNN the whole thing started as a joke to him, but then got very real very quickly.  He's not kidding. Local officials are taking this very seriously, the small Nevada counties to declare a state of emergency.

The original invite instructed people to "Naruto run" into the facilities, which the US armed forces admitted was an official base in 2013. One stormer can be seen in the background of a local news report this week.

No word on if Slayer will be playing during the invasion, but we think blasting "South of Heaven" or "Angel of Death" during the storming would be pretty cool.
