The You Rock! Foundation has been releasing some very compelling videos over the last few years featuring big names in the rock and metal world discussing their struggles with depression, showing this is a real thing that can happen to everybody. Previously, we've seen Slipknot's Corey Taylor discuss his trials and tribulations with depression and The Dillinger Escape Plan's Ben Weinamn discussed his struggles with depression.
Today, we're sharing a video of Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe who shares a startling tale about how his well-documented alcoholism led him down the road to depression, and it was so bad that he once downed a bottle a pills and tried to kill himself. Instead, he just got arrested. The story is very eye-opening and Blythe is very courageous for putting himself out there like this:
