Muncipal Waste keep falling into politics. First, Kathy Griffin name-checks them last week, and now Tony Foresta is talking to his local mayor. Municipal Waste frontman Tony Foresta recently sat down with Levar Stoney, the Democratic mayor of Richmond, VA, and conducted an interview that covered a ton of ground.
Foresta asks about Levar's music tastes (he's a big Drake and A Tribe Called Quest fan), how he feels about what he's done for the city thus far, and even gets into Levar's outspoken distaste for the city's display of a Confederate past.
You can check out the whole interview below, which runs about 4 minutes and is absolutely worth the watch! Oh, and you really ought to check out Municipal Waste's latest song here.
