The Dillinger Escape Plan are the closest thing to ECW in heavy metal. Their live shows are insane, we've established that. But also, the people in the band are tough motherfuckers.
Case in point: Ben Weinman broke his finger in two places right before a show. So what does he do? He powers through and ends up breaking his finger in another place as well. All this according to a recent Instagram post:
What is wrong with you, Ben? Take a seat once in a while. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, YOU NEED THOSE FINGERS TO WRITE THOSE AMAZING RIFFS.
