Megadeth was supposed to make an announcement recently regarding the identities of the new guitarist and drummer that have joined the band. The group hasn't, so the Internet is taking to speculating. Over the weekend, there was a rumor floating around that Megadeth would be joined by Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler and Angra guitarist Kiko Loureiro, though Adler is only rumored to be a part of the group as a studio member.
Then former Megadeth drummer Nick Menza posted the below video of himself drumming with this comment:
"Well, since Adler is playing on Megadeth's new album, do I get to play on Lamb of God's new album? I'm down for it. Chris, you rock! One of my favorite drummers. Good luck, bro."
Remember when Adler was rumored to be Slipknot's new drummer? At least this is a little more concrete than someone thinking about snare drum sound.
