Zakk Wylde is offering Pantera fans the chance to own one of his stage-played Wylde Audio guitars at every stop of the band's upcoming tour, though your pockets are going to have to be pretty deep to get 'em. The VIP tickets are for Wylde only and include a meet-and-greet with Wylde alongside the Wylde Audio guitars (in Orange Buzzsaw, Genesis Bullseye and Purple Blizzard finishes), are available here and will cost you $3,250 each.
It's slightly funny that the VIP purchase link notes that VIP tickets are limited to three per show, meaning Wylde is pretty sure he'll make $9,750 nightly on these tickets… and given how rabid the fanbase seems for the reunion shows, he might. If you're not trying to shell out a modest mortgage payment for the tickets, Wylde Audio guitars generally run about $1,400 retail. It's worth noting that these VIP tickets are for Wylde only and don't include a ticket to the actual Pantera show.
Speaking of Zakk Wylde, longtime Pantera producer Sterling Winfield recently weighed in the folks that are mad about Wylde not perfectly emulating Dimebag Darrell's style. In an interview with the Is Breakfast Included? podcast, Winfield responded "People keep bitching about, 'It doesn't sound like Dime.' Of course it doesn't sound like Dime. It's Zakk. It blows my mind that people are that picky. But whatever… Instead of picking it apart, listen to the song, man. Don't just listen to Zakk, okay?"
