Soen fans should be happy to know they won't have to wait three years between albums like they did between 2014's Tellurian and 2017's Lykaia. The band has taken to Facebook to announce they'll release a new record called Lotus on February 1, which is their first with guitarist Cody Ford. The album was produced by David Castillo and Iñaki Marconi at Ghostward Studios and Studio 6 between July and October 2018.
We’re very proud to finally reveal that our 4th studio album, “Lotus”, will be released early February 2019. We have spent 2 years on and off writing new material and a couple of months recording it and cannot wait to share it with you. Come join us on this epic part of our journey and see you on the road.
Soen also re-released Lykaia this year with a few additional live tracks, two studio bonus tracks named "God's Acre" and "Vitriol," and some updated artwork if you missed picking up the record the first time around.
