If someone asks you to name an iconic rock riff, I'd be willing to bet you're going to name the hard rock section from Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," or pretty much any of the hits from the first two Black Sabbath albums. So wouldn't be insane if the rifflords behind them would come together?
Well, it might happen. Back in 2013, Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi and Queen's Brian May discussed doing an album together, and now that's back on the table. Iommi tells Eon Music that May was just over his house, and the two are talking about doing an album.
Brian came up to my house a couple of weeks ago, and we started talking about it again, but it’s quite possible. We’d like to do it, but now he’s going on tour. But yeah, I’d like to do something with him.
We… need this in our lives quite badly. Plus, Iommi is permanently off the road now, so he's got the time to do it! Iommi previously had May guest on a solo track off his 2000 self-titled album:
