In 2013, Joe Hill published his horror novel NOS4A2. In 2019, AMC will release the serialized broadcast adaptation of the novel complete with some music by Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Dead Cross). According to Faith No More Followers, Patton was originally slated to do music for the whole series, but only ended up composing the theme and music for the debut episode due to scheduling conflicts.
Brooklyn Vegan provides a brief synopsis of the show, and you can also find a trailer for NOS4A2 below.
NOS4A2 tells the story of Charlie Manx, a seductive immortal who feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – an icy, twisted Christmas village of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law. Manx finds his whole world threatened when a young woman in New England discovers she has a dangerous gift.
