At the very least, you know legendary BBC DJ John Peel from his Peel Session live albums featuring bands like Bolt Thrower, Carcass, Napalm Death, and Extreme Noise Terror recorded for BBC One in the late '80s. Peel's influence stretches miles beyond that into being a radio personality, journalist, record producer, and all around unavoidable name in music. Peel broadcasted regularly from 1967 and until his death in 2004.

Now according to an article by The Guardian, Peel's voluminous record collection is being auctioned off next month. The auction will be held at Bonhams Knightsbridge in London on June 14, and will include records like Nirvana's 1988 single Love Buzz/Big Cheese, his personal BBC Radio 1 DJ horn, and way more. To get a good sense of what Peel had at his home, check out some of the below videos about the man's insane record collection.

"John/Dad was in a position to have access to many of the most celebrated people and events in the history of popular music," said his family in a statement. "This is reflected in a wealth of souvenirs he collected. In going through the accumulation of 40 years of pop music moments, we decided that some of the most interesting items might find a home, with fans of his programme or of the artists whose music he played."
