Dutch rockers The Gathering will play five exclusive sold-out shows at Doornroosje in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, from August 27 through August 31 of 2025, and the real highlight of them all is the reunion of the line-up which recorded their revered Mandylion album, including singer Anneke Van Giersbergen.
"After so many years, we are very excited to celebrate this anniversary together, an album that still means so much to us," said the band in the announcement.
“To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mandylion, I will share the stage with The Gathering once again! You can expect all Mandylion tracks and more from our era together,” added Anneke.
The band’s line-up will be comprised of Van Giersbergen on vocals, Hugo Prinsen Geerligs on bass, Frank Boeijen on keyboards and backing vocals, Hans Rutten on drums, plus René Rutten and Jelmer Wiersma on guitars.
