Based out of Canada, and featuring a recognizable name or two, The Order of Chaos drop their new single and lyric video for the track "Breakpoint". The Order of Chaos features vocalist and lyracist Amanda Keirnan (Into Eternity), as well as Jonathan Webster (Striker) on drums. With these two prolific musicians, the band also has guitarist and lyricist John Simon Fallon, guitarist John Saturley, and bassist Slava Fedossenko.
The Order of Chaos blends together more traditional heavy metal, with particularly the chorus being more along the lines of Accept style of singing. The other side of this is the verses, which are much more melodic death metal. Keirnan's time in Into Eternity has definitely made an impression on her as a vocalist as the vocal levels on this new track, compared to previous releases, have improved significantly in power and dimension. Instrumentally, it's thrashy with some hefty melodic tones throughout. The instrumentals lend themselves nicely to each of the different tones that "Breakpoint" manages to blend in and out of, making the track flow quite nicely.
"Breakpoint" will kick off The Order of Chaos's new album Maniacal, which will see release in 2020, but for now, the new track can be heard below.
